The Canadian Orthoptic Council (COC)
is the group sanctioned
by The Canadian Ophthalmological Society to govern and certify orthoptists in Canada. The Orthoptic training centers in Canada
are, in turn, accredited by the Canadian Medical Association.
For employment in Canada an orthoptist requires successful
completion of COC certifying exams. Each certificant must pay
COC annual fees, and submit proof of continuing education. |
